Debbie Perry MSR, CCC-SLP, ATP

Debbie received her Masters of Science in Rehabilitation in Speech Language Pathology from the Medical University of South Carolina.  After graduating she spent time in Costa Rica, volunteering in an orphanage.  Here Debbie improved her ability to speak Spanish and is now able to provide basic bilingual therapy.  Upon returning she and her husband moved to San Diego, CA where Debbie began her career working in San Diego Public Schools and a private clinic focusing on treating children with Autism.  Since settling in the DC area she furthered her career working at a pediatric hospital with children who are medically fragile.  Here Debbie began to specialize her knowledge in feeding therapy and assistive technology with children from birth to 21 years of age.  Debbie also worked as an Assistive Technology Specialist at a DC charter school for children with special needs.  Debbie is trained in Beckman Oral Motor Therapy, Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson's Program, DIR/Floortime, and PROMPT.  Debbie's areas of expertise are in feeding and Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
